In addition to the above, what DisplayPort cable are you using? Not all cables can reliably carry the bandwidth required for 4K @ 60 Hz. And have you successfully tested your cable and adapter with any other display, preferably another 4K display?

You don’t want to use HDMI because the XPS 15 only has HDMI 1.4, which isn’t enough for 4K @ 60 Hz. For DisplayPort, what adapter did you use to connect it to the USB-C/Thunderbolt port?

And in terms of the OSD menu, typically one button displays the input selector interface and a different button displays the full menu. Check the manual for that display, which you can find on support.dell.com.

www.amazon.de/.../ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00 i'm using this cable and i only have this display, couldn't find a button to start with OSD full menu

The manual is here fast.ulmart.ru/.../686254.pdf but still I couldn't find a way to get to the main menu, as it is always in the selecting HDMI/DP/mini DP menu and there is no button to exit

hello my previous message seems to not going through, my current problem is that i read the https://fast.ulmart.ru/manuals/686254.pdf   which is the manual but it still doesnt tell how to get to the main OSD menu and there isn't a button for me to do that. I dont have other monitor or laptop to test it and also the https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B06XFG1YKT/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1  is the tb3 cable i used

Well Page 25 of that manual shows what the full OSD is supposed to look like, so if you can’t access it and can’t get any sort of picture to display, then you may simply have a bad display. Sorry!
