I am having the same issue, and my laptop is only 4 months old, i'm overseas and dell in Egypt refused to fix my laptop due to the warranty only extending in Canada, the repair shop has no idea what is happening to it either. Please help, I paid 2500 dollars for a gaming laptop that didn't even last 4 months.
I was told (from the friend that suggested the solution to me) that the battery is faulty and I should request for a replacement. Is that the case? How will I know and what should I do to request the replacement?
I live in Germany but do not speak German, by the way. The German website has some of the support services only available for German speakers.
When I went back home, the laptop was still looping as I said above (Lights on, then red logo, then nothing, lights on, then red logo, then nothing, etc). I disconnected the charger and pushed the off button for 30 seconds. The loop stopped. I then turned on the laptop and it is working normally ever since.
But I wonder, why did that happen and what did it mean? Should I be worried about the future?
