Most common failure is Bad Power. You could try using a meter to measure output on the power connections to the Internal drives.

Thanks for your post, SpeedStep!  I switched out the P/S yesterday but got the same result.  I also reseat the ram, but that didn't help neither.  Some old posts suggested that the system bios is probably fried.
