Bluetooth Problems - 600m

Question

2 months after purchasing my 600m, I began to have problems with my bluetooth. Came onto these forums to figure out if it happened to any one else, and it was sort of a relief, but not really, to find out others had the similar problem. Erratic flashing light, annoying hardware detected beeping noise. Right now, I solved the problem by just opening up the laptop and trying to re-seat the chip. Exactly, how do you re-seat the chip? Is the chip not suppose to move at all? As in if you touch it, it shouldn't move? Or can it have a bit of play? Temporarily, I have placed a wad of paper between the chip and the front of the laptop, since that seems to have solved the problem.

I had the same problem twice...the actual connector on the motherboard came loose on mine...so I had 2 MB replacements in July and November of last year...(they also replaced the Bluetooth card on each of those occasions)

So basically I am thinking that you might end up having Dell replace your MB and Bluetooth card...
