You are comparing colors on a 15" LCD versus a 27" display, both which use different drivers to talk to the operating system. We offer the P2715Q driver here. The P2715Q User's Guide starting on page 30 discusses the OSD (On Screen Display) -Color -Preset Modes section. Assuming that you have tested and compared all of those (Standard, Multimedia, Movie, Game, Paper, Warm, Cool, Custom Color) to the laptop display?
The only way to 100% "match" colors is to calibrate both the laptop LCD and the external monitor with calibration hardware and software.
