MOST drivers for XP were also built for 2000, so MOST should transfer straight over. MOST of the Dell drivers are for both. Not all, but most. It should say 2000/XP if it is good for both.

Have you checked the downloads section of support.dell.com? Enter your service tag and choose Windows 2000 for the OS when looking for the drivers. Remember to Install the Chipset driver first, beyond that the order doesn't really matter but it is important to install the chipset driver first in order to prevent problems with hardware detection and conflicts.

Got Win 2000 on our Inspiron 4000. Have setup for dialup and wireless. What kind of Lan setup do you have? Maybe you let me know and we can send you a driver. Mike.

I can't find drivers for the sound card and lan card that is onboard... Tried different drivers from sis for the lan card and the xp drivers with no sucess. I guess I have to put this thing back to stock.
