PowerEdge T110 RAM compatibility

Hello

I want to install some RAM into a PowerEdge T110.  It is a Xeon X3440 CPU.

The current RAM is Hynix PN: HMT112U7TFR8A (1gb)

The RAM I am going to install is Hynix PN: HMT325R7CFR8A-H9 (2gb).  It was pulled from a T410.

Is the RAM going to work?  I will not mix modules.  This will be a replacement.  Going from 1gb x4 modules to 2gb x3 modules.  The server is remote so I need to be positive it will work before I ship.

Hello

No, that memory is not validated for the T110. The T110 does not support registered/buffered memory. You can find more information about population rules in the manual:
