blink/unblink physical disk

Hello all,

I'm new to racadm raid commands but I was able to find some useful commands. I got a question regarding blink/unblink. How do I get the status of the blink flag after using "racadm raid blink:Disk.Bay.4:Enclosure.Internal.0-0:RAID.ChassisIntegrated.1-1" or "racadm raid unblink:Disk.Bay.4:Enclosure.Internal.0-0:RAID.ChassisIntegrated.1-1"

I don't seems to have access to private messages. I'm working on a PowerEdge VRTX.

I don't show that you are a member of the registered users group. There may be something in your account setup that is not completed.

I have been unable to find anywhere that the blink status is monitored. I doubt this is something that is reported. I have been unable to find any management or monitoring program that reports the current blink status. The only capability I have found is to send either a blink or unblink command. Based on my research, it does not appear possible to get the blink status..

Thanks

So if you're not in front of the array, you can't tell if the lights blinking? :smileysad:
