I am having the exact same problem. Only I have not changed out the motherboard. I have only had this computer for a little over a year. I am able to use the computer by using a IGO Juice AC adaptor. The laptop has killed "both"of my Dell AC adaptors. Can you please give me the part number. My computer is no longer under warrantee as it was a replacement for a my previous dell.

Thank you for using Dell's Community Forum.
When you replaced the board, did you replace the DC to DC converter board?

Huh? A DC to DC converter? Don't you mean an AC to DC? DC to AC?
Anyway The first mobo I got was bad out of the box. The second one that was sent solved the problem.
Thanks!
