The biggest cost will come if the system is under warranty - which you will void if you replace the screen.

Essentially, you'll need to replace everything above the keyboard (screen, bezel, back cover, cables and hinges) to replace the touch with a non-touch.

You're better off simply disabling the touch feature entirely rather than replacing the hardware.

Thanks for the reply! I've actually already disabled it. My problem is with how incredibly shiny it is. You simply cannot work in or near sunlight. Very annoying and useless, IMO. I don't care about the warranty. I just want to replace with a non-touch matte screen. And yes, I've tried a screen protector/matte screen, but those have their issues as well.

If I could get options / part #'s that would be AWESOME!!

Thanks again!

Probably the only source of parts on a model this new is Dell - for which you'll need to call Dell Spare Parts.

In the US, 1-800-357-3355

Outside the US, call your local Dell office and ask for "Spare Parts".
