Hello

If the issue only occurs when attempting to use the Windows Media player, you can try reinstalling it. You can follow the steps provided on the link below. Let me know how it goes.

I have done what you've instructed and tested it, I received the same error whilst opening a WMP file.

Ok, can you give us more information on the error message that you receive?

This error happened somewhere near the end of February when I went to browse around my folders. In a folder when there are images (such as JPG or PNG), Windows Media Player will automatically open. In an attempt to close it, the image pops out the 2nd time without clicking on the icon. After closing it, an error log will appear. And once closing it, the same error will pop out numerous times under one spot.

The same exact error integrated into regular music and videos even after reformatting the laptop, slowing those files into a crawl (with the pause button acting on itself), until the same exact error pops up as before.

These two screenshots show two of the errors that I received within the cluster of pop up errors.
