Hi Vadim,

The part number for the card includes the cable. It connects via a connector on the motherboard labelled WF_BT_USB (it's just next to the PSU and CMOS battery)

Hi Vadim,

The wireless card doesn't fit into the motherboard M.2 slot, it fits into a PCI card (Dell part number D8W2M)

You would also need antenna, part number 97PD5 (includes cable, connector cover, screw) or two of part number TFMDF (Whip Antenna, Foxconn)

I hope this clarifies things, thanks.

Hi, Alasdair,

how can I find documentation for this part? I'm worried about 14pins connector at the corner of the card. Maybe it needs to be connected somewhere to motherboard and I won't have cable or motherboard won't have the port for it.

I looked at one of our 3050s that had the wireless card and the Part numbers are as follows:

Dell PN: 0MHK36 (Intel Wireless 3165NGW)

Dell PN: OCR86C and OYC3XX for the white and black antenna cables.

Although I don't have the PN for the antenna in the back. I'm currently trying to acquire the kit for another OptiPlex 3050 I have that I want to upgrade.
