Thanks for your suggestion, but that's what I've done first when I had this problem. As I mentioned, I think I tried all drivers of HD 4000 available in Dell or Intel web sites, and all drivers after December 2014 led to blue screen with page fault error when the embedded video was played in MS Powerpoint.

Have you tried using the driver direct from Intel support?
The latest driver for the HD 4000 graphics for 3rd generation Intel chips is
Version: 15.33.46.4885 (Latest) Date: 1/3/2018
