* Turn the S2318HN/NX off * Turn the non-validated/tested MacBook Pro off * Disconnect ALL cables from the S2318HN/NX * Press and hold in the S2318HN/NX power button for 8 seconds
* Open the MacBook Pro lid * Turn the MacBook Pro on
* Reconnect the power cable to the S2318HN/NX * Reconnect the HDMI to HDMI cable to the MacBook Pro and the S2318HN/NX * Turn the S2318HN/NX on * Press the S2318HN/NX Menu button * Go to Input Source * Check HDMI * Exit the Menu
This is where we do not know what to do with the Apple OS. You have to somehow tell the Apple OS to "extend" its desktop to the external monitor.
