OK...the picture has to be approved by a moderator before I can see it. The following support page should help a ton. The 2.5" SSD mounts on the bottom of the cage and the 3.5" HDD mounts on the top. Take a look at the pictures and it will be a lot clearer.
If your upgrade was from as 3.5" HDD to a 2.5" SSD then the bay and cable for the HDD should still be there. At least the bay is, if you need a SATA cable you can buy that at any local PC shop. And yes the 9010 DT has one 3.5" bay and two 2.5" bays. So both drives can be installed.
Thanks so much for the reply! So, they say a picture is worth 1000 words. Here is my picture of what I am working with. One big blue Hard drive caddy and my 2.5" SSD in the middle. Where and how exactly do I fit a 2nd HDD? I see the open SATA port at least, so I'm good there. Just need some more advice on how or where to add the 3.5" HDD in this thing. I have no other caddys on hand. Thanks again!!!!
Aaaahhhhh! Yes, that link helped a ton. You'll see when my pic comes through why I was confused. My 2.5" SSD is mounted with a 3.5" to 2.5" black converter bracket of some sort to where the 3.5" drive normally would be. Lifting the caddy out, I see on the underside of it where there are screw holes. I could move the 2.5" SSD to the underbelly so that I have room on top for the 3.5" HDD.
I think I'm just 4 small screws (to mount the 2.5" SSD on the underside of the caddy) and a SATA cable (for the HDD) away from greatness!!
