I have the same problem as well. Hope somebody will ever FIX IT!!!!

November 30th, 2018 01:00

A lot of people suffering from issues with Intel HD XXX drivers with Windows 10. Everybody can read 100s messages about screen going black after installing original drivers from dell web page. The same thing is going on while installation of generic drivers from intel. All technicians on the forum telling us that problem in hardware or unclear installation of drivers. I personally contacted with whole bunch of dell owners with the same problem. If you give laptop to service center they say problem in software, hardware is OK!!! So please can somebody from huge company tell when new normal intell graphics will be released after a year!!!!???? Why customers should suffer from company who dont care about customers at all!!!

Thank you for your message. I apologize for the inconvenience caused, I will be glad to assist you with this.

Have you tried disabling the Intel card to check if the issue persists?

Does the screen blackout on startup or when using applications?

Does this happen irrespective of the applications used or only when gaming?

I am also going through the same as on my Inspiron laptop, the screen is getting black and when it comes back to the normal, many things have changed. For example, I have connected my printer to print something and then suddenly the screen went black and when it comes, it shows the Epson error code 0x97 on the interface and the printer lost its connection.

Does the screen behave the same way without the printer connected?

Open device manager – expand display adapter- right click on the Intel driver & click on uninstall (check the box that says delete driver) & click on restart. Check if the black screen issue persists.

Dell 15 7567 Black screen after instalation Intel HD 630 driver

Laptop: Dell 7567 + SSD samsung evo 970(Windows 10 Pro 1809)

All other drivers instaled

BIOS updaited

Everething works until the moment when drivers are instaling. During instalation proces screen goes gray-black.

Keyboard keeps lighting.

I already tryed clear instalation of Windows and all availible drivers from official dell and intel storage.

Instalation of drivers thue device manager gives the same result.

Laptop works only if intel HD 630 is disabled in davice manager(in safe mode)

Dear suport, is you will give an advise to reinstal drivers, please better dont say stupid things.

If somebody have working way to fix it I am going to be thanksfull.

Hi FoxinBox95,

Thanks for posting.  Apologies that your system is not performing as expected.

Did your computer ship with the SSD Samsung 970 installed?  If not, does the computer work normally with the SSD removed?

If the system is under warranty, please contact me privately. Be sure to include your personal information (name, address, telephone, email) and your computer's service tag number in your message. Thanks.

If there is no warranty, then you could contact our Out of Warranty team to get a quote for a paid service call -

I'm dealing with the same issue. Did you find a solution?

Don't know if this would fit your situation, it fixed mine (different laptop model for me) but, in the BIOS look for something along the lines of Intel Optimus technology. If that is unchecked, the drivers will install but, the intelligent switching between the dedicated GPU and onboard video won't work correctly.
