You no doubt have the Actiontec combo - there are links below in my sig to the dirvers you'll need - look for the Lucent 8.30 modem driver link and the Actiontec Intel 8255x Ethernet driver link. Make sure the Device Manager as ? entries for both to verify the card is even beong seen by the notebook. You might need to reseat the mini-PCI card under the access door on the bottom.

I think that is it because when I go into the BIOS it says there is no Mini PCi card installed. Thanks a bunch I am gonna shut down and try it now.

There are two wires inside the door but there is no card someone must have taken the card out. Thanks for all the help everyone.
