contract status
I see my site contract status as Customer quoted for some products and Terminated for some products. What does it mean ?
can someone please explain this ? I am new to this storage field I coud not understand what it mean

Coming back to your Query:
I am not from T & M Group so I will be able to share what I know which might be useful for you.
Customer Quoted generally may refer to that after a Service Contract is expired T & M Group has contacted the Company or responsible person with a revised quote for Service Support.
Terminated may refer to there are no active contract on those Products.
Moreover, I recommend referring :http://www.emc.com/support/emc-product-warranty-maintenance-use-rights.htm and if required, you may open a Live Chat for additional information.

Thanks for your speedy reply. I could have open a live chat but doing so will raise an SR for my site which i dont want it to happen.
I was bit confused by the terms Terminated and Customer Quoted.
Terminated--- I assume that there will be a terminate status when we terminate a contract in the middle of the actual contract period. If that was not the case why it was mentioned as terminated but not expired ?
Customer Quoted -- If the customer was quoted with a revised contract then it must have customer quoted and eventually if the customer accepts the contract then the contract status must be active but not customer quoted. Is that correct ?
Please let me know if I am wrong.

Hi duggivarun,
At this point of time, I would suggest contacting T & M Group will be the right choice here as they can explain the details with a reason why that particular product shows that description.
From what I know Terminated means it can be from either party.
Customer Quoted: means EMC Personnel has contacted the customer with a quote or a revised quote.
You are not opening a Support SR. You will be opening a Informational SR or a Live Chat. However,still you do not wish to do that. Contacting ASR or DSM for the site will be the wise choice.
Apologies, for not being much of a help as I used to belong to Technical Support where we dint use to get in to Contract Details much.
