Where did you find BIOS v15.
I tried to update the BIOS to version 12. The release notes say that it solves that problem but it is not the case for me.
The problem is still there.
DELL support, have you tested the BIOS v12 against this problem?
I just updated my D800 with the lastest BIOS version (A11) but the problem is still there.
DELL support, I hoped that this BIOS update would solve the problem. Why not?
Thanks for your support
Yes, Dell had offered a lot of BIOS Flashes for a lot of Different models last month, including most of the latest (like D610).
Just carefully follow all instructions, a BIOS Flash gone wrong can mean a trip to Dell for your box, note that warranty won't cover that unless Tech Support had you do it.

Have any of you turned the Dell QuickSet service off?

BIOS v15 may be for the D600.
A_12 is the latest BIOS for the D800, released in early February and it did solve the first issue for me.
