Monthly Status

Hello ALL

We can see following output at the beginning of every month.

I found that celog_send_events.py send event every month as following. But I cannot find another behavior at that time.

# Monthly cluster status notification

0       0       1 *       *       root isi_ropc /usr/bin/isi_celog/celog_send_events.py -l info 400090001

Does anyone know the function of "Monthly Status"? any script run on Isilon cluster?

# isi events show -w -i 3.95

Hello twakky,

The alert system has a long list of events triggered by a variety of conditions.  You can review a list of events on our Event Reference guide on support.emc.com.  Here's a direct link to the document:  https://support.emc.com/docu56053_OneFS-7.2-Event-Reference.pdf?language=en_US

Within there, the Monthly Status alert is noted as follows:

Monthly status.

This alert is generated once each month to provide general cluster information.

The message is informational only.

Administrator response: No action is required.

You can cancel or quiet the alert by typing the following commands at the command line:

isi alerts cancel

isi alerts quiet

If you have any questions or need additional information, contact EMC Isilon Technical Support.
