8600 BIOS Post not displaying but does boot to OS

Question

Ok this just started...Use to when I booted my 8600 a bios post screen would appear and give u the bios setup option key with a little status bar that ran then it booted into the Win Xp well now that doesnt happen anymore and when I try to go into the BIOS nothing displays on the screen. The computer boots fine but the screen is black untill the WinXp finally loads then it runs fine. Any Ideas?

I am having the same problem DELL tech support was absolutely no help. They said this was not a problem and had me reboot and hit the F2 key this didnt work. KJ
