Thanks for the reply .
not DDEBA , using NNM 9.2.0.3 with Networker 9.2.0.3.
Think DDEBA not supported DDboost for Sharepoint , right ?

hi crazyrov ,
I saw this as well .
Does that it make sense if i am getting 5.75 hours for backing up 1.979TB of sharepoint data using DDboost client direct to Data domain via gigabit network across firewall ?
Anyone have thru'put benchmark for sharepoint ddboost backup ?

If speed is what is making you question about usability of DDBoost, Please share the connectivity which exists between Client and DD. do they have a 1 gig link or a 10 gig connectivity.
Also confirm if it is the DFA backup happening for this client or is it sending data using traditional method?

You can find this information in server's daemon log.

The client and data domain are on 1 gigibit network and they are across firewall because they are on different subnet .
When u mention DFA , u mean "client direct" in version .9.x ? Yes , we are using "client direct" .
We did a backup test shown below just now using bigasm directive between the networker server, client and data domain , seem the network is very congested . Most likely, the performance of the DDboost is effected by this network problem .
Backup 20GB ( 2 * 10gb file ) in 37 minutes across firwal to Data domain without both client direct & Dboost . Based on this speed , it is running at 10MB/s only .
