It will work fine as long you have you have the right plug adapters.

David, you don't need a transformer but you might need a converter plug. Take a look at this page.

If you are in countries with 220v and 50?/60? cycles
Buy a 220/230v to 110v FOREIGN VOLTAGE CONVERSION transformer
with a decent wattage output (110v 300w will be good for
the PC).

To use it for a toaster/hair dryer you might
need a 110v/1kw output (30-50lbs)
This would protect your PC & PC power supply.
This unit should handle the dirty and fluctuating currents.

You can use this converter for: your other 110v devices and
to charge its batteries..

You will never burn any of your devices and appliances.
