Peculiar tech issues

Question

I found it more than odd that my laptop no longer works after I let my warranty expire?  A month before it expired I start having issue with a power cord I purchased 1 year earlier.  Not to  mention the more than usual messages about renewing my warranty.  I've also been called about issues with my DELL laptop by so-called 'reps' with my personal info.  How did they get that, well I had an issue with my laptop contacted DELL and ever since strange calls about possible security issues, go to this website and let us log into your PC and they can fix type of messages.  I've reported this numerous times to DELL, thru their dedicated site for fraud.  Not so much as a reply back.  This laptop is TRASH!  Seems as if products from HSN are defective products DELL knows about and still charges top dollar.  DELL has not try to help resolve this at all, terrible company!

I would run a full scan with Malwarebytes sounds like you have some malware on your computer.

Sounds OK however PC wont charge, so if that malware can cause the power cord I purchased 1 year prior to not charge, It must've come from DELL, sounds really peculiar.
