Thanks for posting.  Apologies that your S2716DG is not performing as expected.

I hsve swapped to known working power cables and read the section you linked inregards to "no picture", and how to solve it. 

This unit doesnt even turn on from power button. I think its power components are dead.

Cant run any self diagnosis without it powering on

If your monitor you purchased from Best Buy is still under warranty, you must register it into youur name, address, etc.
