Have you tried to do a System Restore? It solves a lot of Win10 problems.

Try holding down F12 . Turn off pc ,hold down F12 and plug in a power supply ,this should take you to bios recovery I believe ,from there it is a follow instructions multiple choice.

f12 and plugging in power supply does nothing, only activity I can get out of it is to do the home key and power button

I believe I would have to have the ability to get past POST to reach system restore, I dont even get anything on the screen as the home key and power button only get it humming along for about 10 sec before shutdown

Dell let me know that the computer is out of warranty, so no responsibility for faulty bios updates ??

Seems to be a Dell problem after all......my .02 ......DONT UPDATE THE BIOS ON YOUR 5555

I called support and they agreed to fix it for free.....fingers crossed and I will update later

Sent computer to Dell service center, it returned today

works just fine , no charge for repair

 

Kudos to Dell for handling my problem
