I see on the back of the unit there is a spot for SMA antennas. Just need the antenna kit so I can have everything all in one. Would really prefer no usb adaptors, or anything for the PCIE card slots.
I agree that getting the (better) antenna outside of the computer-case is a good idea.
May I ask where are you using a desktop that doesn't have a real ethernet wire ? You use the hard-line when available, right?
This would be a garage pc so there is no ethernet in the garage. Wifi is best for this case. Normally unless I am above or below (floor) wise for the router I always try to plug in. But in this case this is replacing an older system.. think optiplex 980? I have the low profile pci wifi card in that with dells square box antenna thing. Works well. This would just completely eliminate the wire running from the box to behind the monitor.
