my usb ports are no Longer recognised - Only my mobile phone
Hy, All my flash usb drives & external hard drives are no longer recognized- except for my samsung galaxy mobile phone usb. I recently Updated the chipset - as instructed by Dell - also Dell Assist agent stopped working - that Stupid Square -just keeps spinning forever !!! what now ?? Do I have to re-install windows 8 ? I tried my Dell windows 8 restore USB-its recognized- But can not fix the usb issue.

@petershu Did you check for BIOS update? Try updating the Intel Serial IO driver.
You can also test the USB port's of your system by pressing F12 as your system starts. It will boot your to Boot Manager. Once you're there plug in your USB stick and if it detect the USB then there's no problem with the port.
