OneFS Version: 8.1.2.0

Hi I m using first time Islion storage (One FS). Having some issue that we are using windows systems as well as centos-7.4. Two map points are created M & F. We use domain server 2008rs and created a group support and all users are in support group. I want to map M & F by each user login which I could not. I dont have any problem in windows client systems. Find the below issue :

1) If I mount via root with filesystem nfs : the users are not modified any file write, but same task they can do in windows systems.

2) If i mount with filesystems cifs : the normal user cannot mount, until created .smbcredentials (where a test user and his password was given) in /usr/local path.

3) after cifs mount : all the files and folders in M & F mount points are shown owner and group is root. Here they can create any file but cannot modified after given modified permission.

I need some guide in the above issue . Thanks in advance

A good overview of multiprotocol (NFS & SMB) file sharing with Isilon is:

https://community.emc.com/community/products/isilon/blog/2015/10/08/emc-isilon-multiprotocol-concepts-series

This blog series includes many links to more in-depth papers, and it also mentions RFC2307 which is usually the way to go and therefore deserves an extra document:

OneFS: How to configure OneFS and Active Directory for RFC2307 compliance
