Dell Repository Manager - creating a new offline share
Hi all,
getting a little lost creating a local update repository for my Dell laptops to connect to, is there a detailed guide which walks through the process.
i have created a new repository
synced the catalog with Dell
selected the models i required and downloaded the files do i just export the catalog and put it onto a network share and just point the Command update GUI at the .xml file in the share
am i missing something?

I'll bump this. I've seen a couple of posts saying Export it and then import it to your Offline Repository Manager, but doesn't say which export method to use, or how to import.

This one starts to get to the point, but doesn't answer it.

It is not an obvious work flow...
You might find the webcast archives of help at <ADMIN NOTE: Broken link has been removed from this post by Dell>. This is where I got the initial info on Command Update and Repository Manager.
Dell also has a Youtube play list that has some helpful content too, but most of it looked SCCM centric when I peeked at the channel. Dellvlog is their Youtube channel.

Tried that, it download from the internal dell online catalog. Out of 407 updates selected, 77 success, all the remaining are failed but not enough info in log to know why. Tried I think 20 times and always the same result. I also tried selecting all 407 updates in the local repo, click on download, save somewhere, about 156 files are created and the job says download x of 77....
