FIXED!!!

I downloaded the Windows 10 Installation media on this to a USB with someone else's laphttps://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/software-download/windows10" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer nofollow ugc noopener noreferrer">https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/software-download/windows10

I launched the USB with the F12 menu on startup. I clicked 'Repair my Computer' instead of reinstalling Windows. I went on Troubleshooting and launched Windows from there, it detected that the problem was the latest update so it uninstalled it and now its working!!

Thanks for all the help

I'm assuming windows 10 is on the computer......

Please power off computer, turn on and off three times. On the third time, computer should boot into the Advanced Recovery environment. Click on Troubleshoot, Advanced Options, and select either System Restore or Startup Repair.

Seeing that the diagnostics detected a memory issue, you may have a faulty RAM module. Try checking the memory again using memtest86.

Hi @Kflash08,

I'll try to do this today and report back how it goes.

Hi @LSUFAN51

To clarify, it's not stuck on boot up, it switches off and then tries booting up again.

I've tried both switching it on and off with the button 3 times and also leaving it to try and boot itself 3 times and neither bring me to the recovery screen. And yeah it's Windows 10, sorry I forgot to clarify.

Glad to know the computer is up and running again. Also, thanks for sharing the solution for others to see and be a help to them.

One more suggestion:

Back up windows 10, important files, documents, pictures and other important stuff to an portable external drive or to an cloud backup software. When the computer is experiencing software problems, this will save you a lot of headaches and money. There're a lot of back up software that you can install but I will name two that are very common on the internet computer forums:

Macrium Software Home Free (or paid) Edition - Most people use the free edition. In the free version, you could  create a system image of window 10 and schedule it daily, weekly or what you desire. In paid version, you could create a system image as well but you can backup your files, documents separately.

My computer won’t start up. I’ve tried all the options and it states PC DID NOT START CORRECTLY. tried trouble shooting, NO RESTORE POINTS HAVE BEEN CREATED. Went to factory reset. During factory reset, it freezes at 25% Applying the backup images & 40% Overall. Left it here several days & it never gets past this point. Any ideas?

Did you try the solution I put? Download the recovery thing onto a USB and launch it by tapping F12 on startup?
