What Graphics card?

Hi

I want to add a Low profile graphics card to my new (refurbished) Optiplex 790.

What one should I be looking at please?

Not too expensive.

I had an optiplex 790 with an i5-2400 and installed a zotac low-profile gtx 1050 Ti. It was an awesome little gaming rig. That's definitely one of the cheapest and most effective ways to get into PC gaming.

Stock 790 power supply DOES NOT support 75W card like 1050TI.

What size 790 do you have, MT, DT, SFF, or USFF?  USFF has no expansion slots.  What CPU do you have?  I accidentally thought I5-2400 from the post above.

Graphic card and processor will work great together:

Intel Core i5-2400 (Clock speed at 90%) with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti (Clock speed at 90%) x1 will produce only 1.16% of bottleneck.

Graphic card is too weak for this processor:

Intel Core i5-2400 (Clock speed at 100%) with NVIDIA GeForce GT 1030 (Clock speed at 100%) x1 will produce 100% of bottleneck. Everything over 10% is considered as bottleneck.

Woops woops, oops oops, here's a YouTube List of 790's running the GTX 1050 ti.

I say it that way because in other posts, I've proven with YouTube videos, people have been running up to 75w cards on 240w (no less than) PSU's.
