700m Fn + function key 'pop-up message' missing?

Hello, On all of the other Dell Notebooks that we use, when the function keys are pressed or when the caps key is pressed, a small box pops up on the screen indicating the action. For example, when Fn + F6 is pressed, a small icon usually appears on the screen indicating the volume adjustment. On the 700m, no indicator appears. Is there any way to make the pop-up messages appear? Thanks, steve

Other Dell systems use Quickset to display the pop-up indicators.  The 700m doesn't appear to use Quickset.

You are correct. The 700m does not use Quickset. Has anyone tried installing it on a 700m?

I tried to install Dell QuickSet, v.2.2.0, A18 which is for 8600, 600m, 300m, etc and the installation halted saying that the program is not for this particular model, 700m.

I guess Dell hasn't programmed QuickSet to be used with 700m. It is very handy to check the volume so I hope they will make it soon.
