Heating and hanging issue.URGENT
- the laptop gets hanged and the cursor doesn't move . Heating issue also. Please do the needful asap because this is urgent. I have been contacting you through mail,chat but none is responding. This loses hope on your brand.please rectify this asap.

Do a hard shutdown by pressing the power button for 10 seconds.
Wait a minute.
Press the power button again.

i tried this but doesn't work.call customer support rep but no solution the call was disconnected.

You have to press the power button until it clicks down, and continue holding it. After many seconds - at least 10 or more - you will hear the system shut down. Fans will stop, hard drives will stop, and the laptop is now off. Let it set for a minute to cool if needed. When you boot it back up it may automatically go into a repair/diagnostic routine. If not simply run the diagnostics from Dell's support website. Or alternatively run them from the support assist program.
