Enabling V-sync, helps a little, but it is still not playable at all, It seems related to the Core/mem, but that does not explain why certain drivers from dell works *normal*

If anyone has more ideás please post it!!

DELL support might have an answer?? maybe it is the BIOS upgrade that is causing this??!?!?!!?

I get these distortions in games too! Does anyone have an answer?

(BTW: I am using "Rewens before a03 bios" (as it has become known), Nvidia drivers 44.03 (with Teraphy's modded INF), System BIOS A05....... my system setup is in my sig)

Help me Dell board users, you're my only hope

Update: I have now installed the latest Dell GF4 4200 drivers (A05) to see if this problem persists.... and unfortunately it does. I am playing Jedi Academy mainly, and when you look around fast or are in a fight, you can often see horizontal ripple or tear lines across the screen like its not adjusting right or something. Anyone have a solution??

The problem is that these distortions are with VSync enabled! (I was trying to fix this with as many different drivers as I could, and enabling VSync on all the ones its possible to long before this topic) Although enabling VSync does reduce the severity of the distortions it does not remove them. Also, some drivers simply do not allow you to get more Direct 3d options (such as VSync).

Hrooom, I'll just keep trying different drivers I suppose, and I'll give your INF a try (Although I have tried other INF's with the 52.16 drivers to no avail, but I'm willing to try anything).

It seems that your INF is working!! I have not tested everything just yet, but there seems to be working great!!! :)

Thanx!

I tried the INF file, at first it worked but then my graphics teared again! :(

Any other suggestions? I am now going to try ReWeN's 53.03 INF though I doubt it'll help any because it seems I've already tried it with 53.03 just that I had to manually replace the INF as opposed to having it already packaged in a click-n-go file.

This is really annoying, I can't play NFS Underground and well, I'm not happy with this at all :(
