Inspiron 7501, LCD has a small bright light in bottom corner

Question

Hello, I recently bought an Inspiron 7501 from Dell outlet, it was listed as certified refurbished. I'm not well versed in computers so excuse my lack of jargon haha. There seems to be a bright light in the bottom right of the screen. This cant be seen when I put the screen as completely black or white, but tends to show with greys and so is generally noticeable. I've attached a photo, which was taken in a well lit room. Its obviously more noticeable when dark.  Is this normal with certified refurbished? Can I ask for this to be fixed? Is there anyway of removing this myself? Any help would be great

It looks like the diffuser (which evenly spreads the backlighting across the screen) is damaged in that area, resulting in the bright light that you see. Not much that can be done unless the entire LCD panel is replaced.

Another possible cause could be that the screen bezel is putting excessive pressure on the LCD panel. Press very lightly on the bezel right below the bright area. Do you see ripples?

Mine is Inspiron 15 7000 Series. I also observe the same behavior. Bottom right small part is bright. Is there any solution for this issue?Thank you.-Bikram Dangol.
