They all take two M.2 2280 drives.  That said, before you order anything, you will need to open the case to make sure the mounting hardware is there for the second drive.  If it isn't, be sure you order that with the drive.

The manual for my G7 17 7700 states the following in terms of SSD upgrades:

"If your computer is shipped with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660Ti, RTX 2060, RTX 2070, or RTX 2070 Super graphics card, ithas one of the following storage options:
○ Up to two M.2 2230 solid-state drives
○ Up to two M.2 2280 solid-state drives
○ One M.2 2230 solid-state drive and one M.2 2280 solid-state drive"

Is there a way to find out which option applies to my laptop without opening the case? I don't want to buy an SSD and then find it doesn't fit.
