inspirion 4508 buzzing noise from underneath the keyboard
Hello ,
I recently purchased a Dell inspirion 4508 (about 8 days ago) , this particular model has the nvidia mx 330 inside it, i have been noticing a electronic buzzing noise from the left side of the laptop , the buzzing can be heard only when i put my ear near the keyboard surface (at present), if the laptop is indulged in heavy work it tend to increase . It's not loud enough to be heard while working on the laptop. Is it a big concern i should be woried of ? will it cause any problems in the future? im planning to use the laptop for a couple of years . Should i replace it or are there any solutions to solve the problem.
Regards

Since there's no 4508, it must be an Inspiron 5408 -- in which case, the only thing internally that has moving parts is the fan. That must be the source of the noise (and yes, under load the fan spins faster).
If it's annoying enough, consider asking to have the system swapped out for a new one (you can do that for the first 30 days after shipment).

my mistake its 5408 , i dont think its the fan cause the fan is on the right side of the laptop. The fan sound is there along with the buzzing sound from the left side (below the keyboard).

That would likely be coil whine from the CPU -- which is a common issue with a lot of newer notebook systems. If that's what it turns out to be, there's no general fix for it, and even a replacement system may be subject to the same issue.

Hello,
If the issue is related to coil while, you can try the following steps
Disable Turbo Boost within BIOS: https://dell.to/39yUmQm
Disable Turbo Boost within Windows: https://dell.to/3pD3fhz
Then check and let us know if the noise reduces

What king of noise do you hear? Is it a clicking or a buzzing noise? Since you have a SSD, there is no moving parts in & there should not be any noise from it.
Do you hear the noise from the left side or the right side of the keyboard?
What is the BIOS version on your system?

Did your original keyboard have this situation? If not, there may be a problem with the keyboard you replaced.
