Inspiron 5406 lid not closing tightly

Question

I have received the 2 in 1 model two weeks back. Used the tablet mode just couple of times and noticed that the lid became loose and not tightly closed. If I hold, he system vertically then there is a 1mm gap between lid and base. Just wondering whether this is going to get worse after few weeks. Is this a defect? I really like this model and the tablet mode, but scared to use the tablet mode now. Should I request for a replacement?

Considering you are within the 30 day time frame, I would be calling Dell tech support asap.

Thanks. I have decided to return and get a replacement. The gap is 1cm and the screw near the hinge looks to be loose as well
