Thank you @crimsom when I placed the order it was a guest account but I created a new account and relinked the order to my account via customer ID and order number. now it is under my account but as discussed still no updates at all ever since the order has been placed, I am a littlie worried as this happened to me this year on an Newegg purchase and I had to cancel and reorder since it was stuck for one month, I hope this is not the case here since when I placed the order it was on sale as well, hopefully I will get the unit before I travel in Mid September.
Please visit your online Dell account to ask Dell Support to create a Service Request for you. Tell them that your order is time sensitive and request fast track intervention. You might still have delayed delivery problem, but Dell should give you more frequent updates on your order.
Hi @Shandidy the Coronavirus pandemic has created supply problems. Your new Alienware x17 R1 is probably still awaiting parts. Confirm that order is lodged in your online Dell account.
Dell does not take any payments until an invoice is sent to you and your order is in transit. You will get updates on your order when there is progress, there is realistically nothing more that Dell can do. These are strange times.
I ordered a Precision 7750 on 25 June and it has been in that state ("about to enter production") since then. It is supposed to ship one week from now and I am supposed to receive it on 20 August. I called the 800 number I was given a few weeks ago and was told the delay in entering production was due to unspecified parts shortages. The only alternatives appear to be to 1) cancel the order or 2) wait.
yesterday it should be shipped to me but there is no revised date and still not in production and zero update since July 20, it says estimated shipping date august 10th but nothing absolutely nothing so far, man this is horrible I have never owned an OEM machine, i always build desktops but due to the nature of my Job i am barely using my desktop and needed a laptop, 1st dell laptop every and the buying experience is limbo, i don't mind the delay just tell me when?? so i can plan accordingly, but nope still zero update i mean i can be overseas and the machine will be delivered to my door step and i am not home
, DELL fix your buying experience it is horrible at least put some updates on your clients order web status, keep your clients informed.

How is your order going? I have a very similar issues as yours. I ordered aurora r12 on aug 4, and the estimated delivered day it’s sep 1 which means today. And the order seems stuck on confirmed not even production yet. I know it’s hard to get part resources at this time. But that’s why I have to wait a month to get it like it showed me on the website. The customer service told me that this order has some issues that’s not go through, so she told me to cancel the order and order a new one, but I’ve already waited for almost a month. I don’t want to wait another month to get this. I checked the order with phone call and it says the order is on hold. I didn’t even receive any notifications to tell me this order has some issues.
My order has been delayed 3 times my shipping date shifted from august 20 to october 20 and it might shift again, i called the call center they. told me the delay is caused by a severe ship shortage, so yeah if i got it before Christmas i would be happy, also at work i am awaiting a shipment for 15 Lenovo laptop for 4 month now every thing is super slow now, place your order and forget about it.

Before placing the order, i had asked them if they are 100% certain that there is no shortage on the RTX 3080 parts and will receive the laptop as you promise me by Aug 27th? The sales rep kept saying yes of course i promise no problem we have all the parts. Now i understand that these sales reps lie to you so they can make commission selling with no intention of ever receiving it on time if ever. How do reps lie to customers so easily on the phone just to make profit i don't understand. Also they never call you back or update you on the progress or if there is any changes, if you do call the manager that you had recently spoke with, the rep says i can't connect you as hes not available but he will call you back but of course they never call back. DELL is the worst company who i ever dealt with and will never ever place any order from them ever again. Worst customer service I've ever encountered in my life.
The dates shared for the order delivery are estimates and is bound to change in case of delay in production, part shortages etc.
I'm sorry if this was not informed by them. I want to check this for you. Please direct message us the order number, name of the registered owner and email ID so that we can review this on your behalf.

My order has been delayed 3 times my shipping date shifted from august 20 to october 20 and it might shift again, i called the call center they. told me the delay is caused by a severe ship shortage, so yeah if i got it before Christmas i would be happy, also at work i am awaiting a shipment for 15 Lenovo laptop for 4 month now every thing is super slow now, place your order and forget about it.
