I have already contacted them. if a product is out of Warranty does it mean you will not even provide parts for repairs? I showed it to Dell authorised service center and they are saying that part request has been put but they are not sure as this is discontinued. But I see that this product is still available online so you are selling inspiron and should be able to provide part. but Dell support days contact outside service centers and outside service center says we dont know about part.??? Let me tell you all this problem has been done by Dell only when your Dell assist installed some update. Since then it has stopped working and on reboot it says Keyboard initialization failure and it does not recognize any USB port. Your beckend update has actually crashed Bios and hence motherboard is spoiled. Now I am running from pillar to post to get the part. Please help get the part ordered

Parts support from Dell usually ends with five years at most - as with just about every manufacturer of systems.  Given the age of the system, and the fact that you're likely to find at best  a 90-day parts warranty on a board -- a replacement system may be a better idea, particularly if you choose not to buy from a private seller on Ebay.

I guess OP Inspiron 3459 is 24 3459 (AIO).  here are some other ebay deals on used board if 24-3459 is indeed the model.

@VBahl2003  What make you think the motherboard is actually dead...?

If you post details of the problem, maybe somebody here can help you figure that out before you invest in a new board...

I took it to dell service center and they told me that motherboard is dead as its not recognizing any usb port or camera and they cannot do any work with the system.
