Dell support had pinged me and advised me to go into the power management settings and turn the Link State Power Management off in the PCI Express settings in the advanced power option settings.  I am about to try running some games to see if what happens.  I have been sitting talking in discord and watching someone stream a game and have not had an issue since I changed it though. I changed it then rebooted and so far minus going into a game it's been stable. I will def update though on any info I get.

Try running prime95, and select "large FFT". The default is blend, so you want to change it.

Then report back if it crashed, or not. Should be able to run 24/7 without any issues.

Wish I had one of these machines to pinpoint what the issue is with it.

I am SUFFERING from this exact issue. I have the 3090. It happens even when sitting idle on the desktop. My machine is totally unusable

This seems to have worked for me!  Did it resolve your issues too?

Yes I wanted to add that this had solved my problem as well. I did want to notify ppl though that on my rig and it might not be the same for others the high performance power profile causes my computer to not shut down when you power it down through windows.  Dunno if others have that issue but it you do go back to the balanced setting and it powers off just fine.

Please see my Reddit Post on this matter. This should help provide a lot of info on yours and many other's issue. This will also hopefully give you a fix.
