Are you using the laptop on a hard flat surface? Not on a bed or carpet?

Open the Windows task manager (Crtl+Shift+Esc), click on more details and select the process tab. Monitor the CPU usage, as high usage will cause the processor to produce more heat. Keep task manager open and use the computer as normal, occasionally checking on the CPU usage. If CPU usage constantly remains high, you'll have to find out which programs and/or services are using the CPU. If CPU usage constantly remains low (idling) but the fans are running at max speed and blowing out cool air, there maybe an issue with with the CPU cooling system, like an improperly installed heat sink. You should also monitor the GPU graph as well, as it also shares the same cooling system as the CPU. GPU usage will only apply to your graphics, so don't expect to see high usage unless you're watching a video, playing a game, or using a program with heavy animations.

Also note that a new laptop maybe be sightly out-of-date when it comes to Windows, applications and drivers, so there maybe a good amount of CPU load for some time as the computer installs the latest updates. This will all depend on how much needs to be updated and the configuration of your system.

If you notice the computer fan running constantly and making an abnormal or loud noise, this might indicate that the computer is not running as efficiently as possible, and/or clogged air vents. It is important to keep dust from accumulating in your computer and ensure adequate ventilation to help reduce heat
