If you still have one working usb port and don't want to shell out for a new motherboard, then you could always buy a little 4 port usb hub. in-expensive solution. :)
The USB ports on the Inspiron 8200 are part of the system motherboard. The only way to repair the USB ports is to replace the motherboard. You can call the Dell Techies to ask about how much it would cost to have the motherboard replaced. They do have a mail in repair center, but you have to arrange that through Dell Tech Support. You could have a technician come out and replace it for you, but, once again, you would have to arrange that through Dell Tech Support.

Another option is to use a PCMCIA USB card, much cheaper than a motherboard.
