I used to have this problem. The only thing I could find was that my hand was touching the touch pad (ie: my "lower thumb") which would cause the cursor to jump, I've learned to type around it. I don't think it's a glitch, but just to make sure, next time you type, watch to see if you touch the pad. Hopefully that helps.
