* Restart the computer
* At the first beep or on the blue Dell screen, tap the F8 key or the F5 key
* At some point, the Advanced Options menu will appear
* Select Safe Mode [Press the Enter Key]
* Select the first or only operating system listed [Press the Enter Key]
* Click Start- Control Panel
* Double-click the Add or Remove Programs icon
* Select the Dell Media Experience application you want removed and then click the Change/Remove button
* The InstallShield Wizard dialog box, select the Remove check box
* Click Next
* If you get a window for "Remove Share Component", click "Yes to All"
* If you get a window for "Remove Share File", click "Yes to All"
* Click Yes
* When finished, close all boxes
* Click Start- Turn Off Computer- Restart

thank you for all your help ChrisM... I will try this tonight when i get home. Are any other programs going to be affected by me removing DMX ??
