Alienware 13r3 screen flickering issues
After hours or driver updates, reading and troubleshooting, can't figure out what is causing this. Drivers up to date based on what is available from support.dell. See video below. Flickering visible on dark or darker colors and not apparent on "white screen" or using programs like Word. Seems to mostly go away when there is mouse movement or other movement on the screen (like notification pop up in video). If I force the PC into using the dedicated GPU, issue goes away. Issue does not happen when using external display. Incredibly annoying and gives me headaches.
Dell support seems to think it's the LCD/connector so they are sending a tech to replace those items, but I am not convinced. Thoughts?
Specs: Alienware 13r3, I7, 16GB, integrated 630GPU with dedicated 1060 gb GPU.

Very possible that the LCD is having problems. Make sure to tell the tech that the issue is not a problem with the integrated GPU or when using an external monitor. Whatever the problem might be the tech is sure to see and diagnose the the source. Post back after the tech has found and corrected the problem.

Thanks for the reply. I have seen a few others with this issue as well but none have had any solutions. Though, I feel I have taken it a step further by doing my own troubleshooting and narrowing it down to the issue only existing when using the integrated GPU.

Update -
I am still getting no where with Dell support. Looking to approach them on social media. They are standing firm that the replacement LCD is of the "same quality". Take a look yourself -
The BOE panel installed yesterday to replace the "flickering screen"

The original Chi Mei panel

The replacement BOE has poorer viewing angles, and terrible latency of 30ms. How could they use this as a replacement on a gaming laptop????
