I know that Avamar does support Vapp backup.

I have the following problematic: I have several VM's part of the same application and they require to be consistent at point in time accross them when backing up, let's say as an example a VROPS cluster where you have 1-2 master node and some data nodes

If we restore them we have to restore them with the VMs state taken at at the same time, this mean that if I do backup the snapshot have to be taken at the same time.

I was wondering if this is true: If I put my VM in a Vapp construct and add it in Avamar as a Vapp Container will Avamar start the snapshot of all the VM in the Vapps at the same time when backing them up?
