Motherboard failed
I purchased my Dell laptop in Oct 2024 after 10 years of use from my ASUS laptop. After only 22 months of use, the motherboard has failed. 22 months!! Paid $1200.00 for only 22 months of use. The laptop was connected to a docking station and I rarely disconnected it. So it really wasn’t used as most laptops are used. Yet, for $1200, I get only 22 months of use. 22 months! I thought Dell meant quality, reliability, value....the things I thought I was purchasing. But I was wrong and I will never consider Dell again, nor advise anyone to purchase a Dell anything. An apology won't return what I spent. Yes, I know that I can send it back to Dell for a motherboard replacement which only has a 30 day warranty. But why should I pay for a replace motherboard if the original one only last 22 months??
