Hi, I have an Inspirion 15 7567 gaming laptop and for some reason it does not recognize my headphones mic. I made sure to try the headphones mic on other devices and it works fine as it should because i bought them a week ago. I have tried everything i found online, went to the sound settings, set the mic to default, went to privacy settings and allowed everything to use the microphone. I am not sure if it is an hardware problem as the audio jack recognizes the headphones for audio output proposes, so i can listen to music and such. I tried resetting my computer but it didn't do anything. One thing i found is that in the sound recording settings the microphone properties says that no audio jack information is available. Does anyone know how to fix it if it is a software problem. Otherwise i can try getting a usb audio jack.
